The Spirit of Dubai Parfums by Nabeel company has released the most expensive perfume in the world. A bottle called SHUMUKH worth $1.295 billion is exhibited at The Dubai Mall.
According to TimeOut Dubai, the bottle of “luxurious unisex perfume” consists of 3,571 sparkling diamonds (with a total weight of 38.55 carats), topaz, pearls, 2479.26g of 18-carat gold and 5892.88g of pure silver.

The manufacturer claims that the fragrance itself is inspired by the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Dubai.
After the release, this perfume immediately set two Guinness World Records, including “the largest number of diamonds on the perfume bottle” and “the highest fragrance with remote control (RC)”. Its presentation was also exclusive and extravagant: it was held in the Armani hall at Burj Khalifa and included a list of invited guests.

The perfumes are placed in a 1.97-meter high case, as well as a manually blown Murano glass bottle containing three litres of liquid, which is applied using a revolutionary remote-controlled spraying mechanism, which is adjusted according to the user’s needs.
“My goal was not only to capture Dubai in a monumental work of art but also to create a fragrance that embodies the pinnacle of luxury in the world of perfumery”, – declared Asgar Adam Ali perfumer and designer of SHUMUKH fragrance.

As for the fragrance itself, there are notes of amber, sandalwood, rare Indian agarwood, musk, Turkish rose, patchouli, ylang-ylang and incense. It is rumoured that it holds on the skin for more than 12 hours and up to 30 days on the fabric.
