How to tighten the skin after losing weight
Finally, what you have been aiming for so long has happened – victory over the hated extra pounds. But the reflection in the mirror still does not give you pleasure, because the skin has become flabby and sagging. Today we will talk about the ways to tighten the skin after a sharp weight loss.
5 effective solutions
Nutrition – review the diet
The first step to a seductive body is to change your diet. You will have to radically review the daily menu and completely or partially delete:
- semi-finished products, junk food;
- smoked products, meat products;
- sweet drinks.
Instead, add fresh fruits (vegetables, fresh fruits), fragrant greens, whole grains into the menu. It is allowed to eat red meat (it is better to steam or bake), fish. Do not forget about nuts in the diet – sources of vitamin E, fatty acids, rejuvenating the body, activating the processes of collagen production.
Sport is the best remedy for sagging skin! Swimming, aerobic exercise perfectly help to restore the elasticity of the skin. Exercises should be aimed at problem areas. Practice, and you will see in your experience that the tightened muscles, as a rule, are not neighbours with skin folds.
Any physical activity is useful for combating sagging skin of the buttocks, abdomen, arms, legs and other parts of the body. The main thing is the regularity!
One of the most effective ways to tighten the skin of the abdomen is a pinch massage, which can be easily done at home. The main thing, in this case, is regularity.
To do this, lie on your back and relax. Begin with easy pinch and to move clockwise. Gradually the massage should become more intense. It should be done until the skin turns red.
To complete the massage, take an anti-cellulite cream (you can also use a regular moisturizer) and apply it clockwise to the skin of the abdomen with stroking movements.
Stretched and flabby skin needs water. But for the healing moisture to fill its cells, it is not necessary to lie in the bath all your free time. It is enough to drink at least 8 glasses of clean water (not tea, coffee, juices, etc.) a day.
But coffee is better to exclude from the diet because caffeine stimulates the excretion of moisture from the body. If the skin is nourished with water, it will recover much faster and become elastic again.
Another equally effective option is the use of various homemade scrubs and wrap. Here are the two most effective, in our opinion, recipes that will help tighten the skin.
After each brew of coffee, put the cake in a separate jar with a lid. So you will have a basis for an excellent home scrub. Take two tablespoons of cake, add a few drops of essential oil of grapefruit and orange/lemon/lime, as well as one tablespoon of any emollient ingredient (cocoa butter, coconut oil or a simple baby cream). Apply to problem areas of the skin every time you take a shower.
Even better is to make a homemade wrap using clay. Use black and blue clay, which must be mixed with warm water to the consistency of sour cream, then add liquid honey in equal proportions and apply to the problem area. Next, take the film and wrap it tightly around the problem area in several layers, leaving for about an hour. You can also try to add a little ground red pepper to the mask, mix and apply to the area. However, if you suddenly feel a strong burning sensation, the mask should be removed immediately. There is a chance of getting a burn.
