Raspberry jam recipe called “Five minutes”
Ingredients for making raspberry jam according to the recipe:
- fresh raspberries – 1 kilogram;
- granulated sugar – 0.5 kilograms.
- Sort raspberries, cleaning it from debris, insects, sepals and bad berries. If the raspberry is from your garden and you are sure that it is clean, you can not wash it. But if it is dirty and you do not know where it grew, it is better to rinse it with water in a colander, gently dipping several times in cold water.
- Layout raspberries and sugar in an enamel dish, alternating layer of berries and a layer of sugar.
- Leave the raspberries on the table for 5 hours until the berries release the juice.
- Put the pan on low heat and wait for it to boil.
- Once the sugar has melted and the jam has boiled, simmer for 5 minutes and simmer over low heat during this time, gently removing the foam with a spoon. Then, take the raspberry jam off the heat.
- Pour raspberry jam while hot in dry jars and close the lids.
