Louis Vuitton identified as the most expensive brand in 2019

Louis Vuitton, the French fashion house is at the head of BrandZ, the most expensive luxury brand ranking, which is annually compiled by WPP advertising holding and Kantar Millward research company.

The assets of the premium fashion brand, which is part of the LVMH, amounted to $47.2 billion. The brand ranked such reputable fashion houses as Chanel and Hermes, which are located on the second and third places with assets of $37 and $31 billion.

Analysts say that the creative director of the women’s clothing department, famous fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquières, as well as the American designer Virgil Abloh, who heads the men’s fashion department, contributed to the success of Louis Vuitton on the market.

The TOP-10 most expensive luxury brands also included Gucci ($25.3 billion), Rolex ($8.4 billion), Cartier ($6billion), Burberry ($4.7 billion), Dior ($4.7 billion), Saint Laurent ($3.6 billion) and Prada ($3.5 billion).
