According to Forbes, the watch of the Coronet Hong Kong jewellery brand hit the Guinness Book of Records, receiving the “Watch with the largest number of diamonds” title. The brand received the world record label on the last day of the Baselworld exhibition that ended in Switzerland.

The total amount of diamonds in the watch is 50,01 carats and 15,858 diamonds. The watch was called Mudan, which is translated from Chinese as a peony flower. It was this flower that inspired designers to create a piece of jewellery. Peony symbolizes nobility, honour and wealth in Chinese culture. The price of the masterpiece is $ 500,000. At the Baselworld exhibition Coronet brand also presented copies of Mudan watches with a fewer amount of diamonds.
