Freelancer's dream: the most unusual co-working offices in the world

For the first time, the idea of organizing an open space for freelancers was implemented in California. The idea was so successful that soon co-working centres began to appear on all continents. Now in every major city in the world, there are more than 100 workspaces. The serious competition idea encourages co-working owners to come up with new concepts for organizing premises and the theme of institutions. Today we have prepared a selection of the most creative co-working centres in which every freelancer dreams to work.

Hubud (Bali)

The creators of this open space are convinced that healthy nutrition, fresh air and physical activity are the main conditions for high productivity. Space is a huge designer loft with bamboo walls and parquet made of Bornean ironwood. The original open space lurks in the heart of the island among the jungle and is surrounded by Monkey Forest and rice fields. In addition to 400 square meters of workspace, there is a cafe where you can try local salads and gluten-free dishes, cocktails and freshly brewed organic coffee. Hubud operates around the clock seven days a week.

Third Door (London, UK)

This co-working is located in one of the quietest and greenest areas of the city – Putney. The concept of the institution is the organization of space for adults and their children. This is a multi-functional interactive community where children spend time with nannies (professional educators and psychologists), working on the Ofsted and EYFS programs. Children play active games, stage plays and engage in various types of creativity. So that interest is not lost, the type of activity periodically changes. Classes are designed mainly for preschool children. The Third Door is open only on weekdays, leaving the weekend for family communication.

Paragraph (Manhattan, United States)

This cosy centre is located close to Union Square. The concept of this workspace is to produce a creative shelter for writers. In order to join this community, it is not necessary to have publications, the main thing is the indefatigable desire to create. A cosy fireplace, a huge library, a spacious balcony and a kitchen contribute to producing a creative atmosphere here. They work here in a room with sound insulation, designed for 38 authors. Membership in a business incubator for writers can be issued for at least a month.

Rochuspark (Vienna, Austria)

Одне з найкрасивіших міст Європи сміливо може претендувати на звання коворкінг-столиці світу. У One of the most beautiful cities in Europe can safely claim to be the co-working capital of the world. The list of the best open spaces may well include 2-3 Vienna centres. The most unusual is Rochuspark. It is located in huge hangars with an area of 600 square meters, but at the same time, it is one of the brightest and greenest parts of the city. There are snow-white walls and floors, a transparent ceiling, and light furniture from IKEA complements the interior. Everything is arranged here so that each coworker has a personal space – each workplace is separated from the others by furniture and plants. Due to high demand, not everyone can become residents of this open space. To obtain membership, you need to maintain a huge queue.

The Farm (New York, United States)

Unique co-working is made not in modern loft or high-tech styles, but in the form of a farmhouse. Antique furniture, curtains, like the ones that hung in your country house, walls without cladding and wood, a lot of wood… But despite the authentic interior, The Farm is the same modern open space like any other. Amazon and other market giants collaborate with it. And according to residents’ reviews, there is also a wonderful service. So, swaying in stylish and comfortable chairs and wrapping themselves in colourful rugs, local startupers enjoy all the benefits of civilization. It seems that this open space is not in the metropolis at all, but in terms of its manufacturability and level of service, it can well compete with the world giants.
