Hubs: a new generation of co-working spaces

Quite recently, co-working offices entered our lives. Thanks to multitasking, convenience and low cost, occupied its niche. Over the years of activity, co-working centres have transformed somewhat and began to offer even more services and options, turning into a real art space.

Hub is a co-working space of the future

Modern hubs are multifunctional platforms that can be used for different purposes. During the daytime, workplaces are located here, in the evening space is transformed into a lecture hall, and at night parties and festivals are held. Depending on the subject of the institution, there may still be galleries, film studios, rooms for events, a restaurant. There is always one thing that unites them: a hub is a kind of intersection of business and creativity.

Similar to co-working offices, hubs are divided into zones, and so that participants of different events do not interfere with each other. Guests have access to a kitchen where they can make tea, coffee or warm-up lunch. You can rent a place for any period: for a couple of hours or several months. There are ususally the bonuses and discounts on services and attendance of events for residents.

The secret of success

Several common features that make the establishments afloat unite the hubs.

Location

To maintain a constant flow of people, the owners of the hubs have their projects in passable places or as close as possible to traffic interchanges. Hubs are located in office buildings in the centre or in large busy areas. The latter is no less popular because it allows coworkers not to depend on transport.

Space

Due to the fact that hubs combine a variety of formats (workplaces, lecture hall, educational platform, art cluster, gallery), the rooms are usually large. As a rule, they are organized in a studio format for easy transformation of the premises for specific tasks and events.

Child of the co-working space

Despite the fact that the hub is a more advanced version of the co-working centre, it should solve the problems of users. Therefore, there are always workplaces, office equipment and elements of round-the-clock service: availability at night, lockers for storage, shower, kitchen.

Focus on innovation

This is the main feature of the hubs. Their main task is the promotion of short-term projects, as a rule, educational ones. Thanks to the impressive space, it is possible to use a much larger number of listeners aimed at gaining knowledge and skills than in co-working office.

Separately, we would like to mention the cultural value carried by the hubs, being multifunctional spaces for art initiatives. It is not only centres for obtaining new knowledge, but a place of the creative and intellectual elite of the country concentration.
