How to quickly get rid of puffy eyes

Puffy eyes can be removed very quickly, in just 10-15 minutes. But let’s first deal with causes of puffiness and bags under the eyes. Doctors call these bags periorbital puffiness and say that it is nothing more than the accumulation of fluid around the eyes. This arises from the fact that the body could not cope with the metabolic processes and simply could not remove fluid or fatty tissues.

Causes of puffy eyes in the morning:

  • lack of sleep
  • fluid retention
  • unhealthy nutrition
  • ageing
  • chronic fatigue
  • allergic reactions
  • crying and tears
  • chronic oedema

Tips on how to get rid of puffy eyes in the morning:

Nose bridge massage

Close your eyes and massage your upper part of the nose. Pay special attention to the skin on the right and left, it is there that often traces of glasses remain.

Potato juice

Potato juice not only eliminates puffiness under the eyes but also brightens dark circles. Apply slices of raw potatoes to the eyelids and leave for 10-15 minutes. Or grate potatoes, put in cheesecloth and apply such a compress on the eyes for a quarter of an hour.

Cold spoons

Apply cold spoons to the eyelids until the metal warms up and swells will be easily off. Cold metal constricts blood vessels, and reduces redness and removes puffiness in the eye area. The same goes for ice cubes.

Cucumbers

Good old record holder to combat puffy eyes. It not only eliminates puffiness but also refreshes the skin. You can attach cucumber slices to your eyes for 20 minutes, or can grate it and put gruel in cheesecloth.
