Autumn skincare

Facial skin needs daily care. However, different seasons make adjustments to care procedures. GoBeauty Blog has prepared some basic rules that will help protect your skin from autumn weather.

Cleansing

In the fall, our sebaceous glands are not as active as in the summer. Therefore, do not use too harsh beauty cleansing products. It is better to go for a softer method of cleansing that does not deprive the skin of moisture. Replace aggressive gels and foams that dry face with softer, creamy cleansing products, such as face milk. Owners of dry and normal skin in the autumn, we recommend to wash face with the gels on an oil basis – it will protect skin top layer from drying and will help to retain moisture in it.

Toning

In the autumn, it is important not to forget about skin-toning this stage of skincare is mandatory at any time of the year. The tonic will help to remove the remnants of cosmetics, grease and contaminants, as well as narrow the pores and enrich the skin with useful components. Note that in the autumn, it is better to give up alcohol-containing remedies that will dry the dermis. This can lead to irritation, sensitivity and redness.

Moisturising and nutrition

After the summer season, special attention should be paid to nourishing and moisturizing the skin to restore it and bring back a radiant and fresh appearance. For this purpose creams with a denser texture, rich in vitamins A, C and E will be suitable. They will create an excellent barrier that will prevent the loss of moisture. Night creams should also be matched with restorative components – they will compensate for the lack of moisture and normalize the water balance.

Facial serums are a great solution – they moisturize the skin and work a little deeper than creams. Look for collagen, shea and olive oil in their composition. Moisturizing face masks – a must-have of your daily beauty routine. They should be done once or twice a week for better results.

Peeling

End of autumn – preparation for the winter cold. In the autumn, when the skin is already restored after the summer, peels begin. At first, it is more advisable to do superficial-medium peels based on fruit acids. Vitamin C contained in fruit acids increases the skin’s immunity, which is very appropriate given the sharp cooling. Surface-middle peeling lighten and even the skin, eliminate pigmentation due to UV abuse, and prepare the skin for the coming cold. Such peeling procedures go through courses. However, it is important to keep in mind that fruit acids based peeling is not suitable for people who are allergic to vitamin C.

After superficial-mid peels, we gradually move to the middle and deep, exfoliating epidermal layer. These can be products with high acidity (60% and above), as well as herbal and algae phyto peeling. Phyto peeling is approachable even for people with an allergy to vitamin C.

Massage

Massages complete preparation for the winter cold. The course can be done in December, at the beginning of winter. This procedure tones the muscles and stimulates collagen production, deeply moisturizes the skin. Massage also eliminates the problem of peeling of the skin, as along with the procedure the skin is vitaminized by the introduction of ampoule concentrates and deeply nourishing masks. It is effective to combine massage with thermal lifting, which also stimulates collagen production. Moisturizes and nourishes the skin with a paraffin mask. Its a nice bonus for the cold season – nice warmth.
