Laser polishing: a modern method of skin aging fighting

The principle of laser polishing
In the process of laser exposure, there are pin holes in the dermis. This removes old (including scars) tissue, dead skin cells. After this, recovery processes are actively launched and the synthesis of collagen fibres is stimulated. As a result, the skin is renewed, tightened, smoothed, its turgor improves, the pigmentation is lightened and sometimes disappears completely.
Despite the aggressiveness of the method, laser polishing can be safely used on the neck, arms, décolleté and even around the eyes. You need to be prepared that after the session skin will be very red and swollen, sometimes even the blood vessels may bleed. But you shouldn’t be afraid of it, in a few days, a healing crust will form, which will come down in a week and a half. In general, the rehabilitation period takes one and a half to two months. When the skin is fully recovered, wrinkles, specks, scars will disappear and skin will become taut and elastic.
How is laser polishing held
By itself, the procedure almost does not cause pain, but at the request of the client, anaesthetic can be applied to the selected zone (paid for separately). Cosmetologist and client wear special protective glasses (if the near-orbital zone is processed, the client simply closes his eyes). The tip of the apparatus directs the beam to the desired area and slowly evenly acts on it.
Indications for the procedure
Laser polishing is recommended for:
- flabbiness of the skin, reducing its turgor;
- double chin, various ptosis (including hanging eyelids);
- hyperpigmentation;
- all types of wrinkles;
- scars, stretch marks.
Contraindications to the procedure:
- inflammation in the acute stage in the treatment area;
- the tendency of the skin to excessive scarring.
