To be healthy: fortifying against colds

Have you decided that you need a more beautiful, strong and healthy body? Or just tired of being sick at home several times a year? Then read about how to properly condition to the cold, so as not to harm the body and strengthen the immune system.

What for do you need it

Proper and regular fortifying against colds strengthens the immune system, minimizes the risk of viral diseases. In addition, tempering with cold water increases the overall tone of the body – a person feels a surge of energy, chronic fatigue, apathy and depression disappear. It is also “slows down” the ageing process: it has a rejuvenating effect on the skin, trains the cardiovascular system (in some cases, it is able to treat vascular diseases), improves metabolism.

How to get started at home

The general recommendation: it is necessary, to begin with walking barefoot. Try to walk around the apartment for 10-15 minutes without slippers and socks. Increase this time by 10 minutes every day, teaching yourself to do without your home shoes. If you have carpets at home – roll them up and set them aside. The second procedure that you recommend to start with: washing with cold water. Gradually lower the degree of water in the morning wash, get used to wash with cold water.

Finally, the third procedure for beginners is air baths. Open windows or exit to the balcony for 10-15 minutes. It is advisable to start fortifying in the spring and summer – when the temperature outside the window is comfortable. Start taking air baths in the morning at a temperature of 18-20 degrees, continue to reach the balcony for 5-10 minutes at a temperature of 12-15 degrees. Clothing should be a minimum: underpants and t-shirt. Try to do without shoes.

How to fortify against diseases with cold water at home

If you have been washing with cold water for several months, it is time to move on to the next step – pouring your feet. Start from 2-3 minutes, bring the time to 5-8 minutes or more, you can keep your feet in a bowl with cold water. Then, when you can keep your feet in cold water for more than 10 minutes every day without discomfort, start wiping with a towel soaked in cold water. Keep a dry warm towel nearby.

When you get used to the cold towel (you can not just wipe, but also to throw it on yourself and stand so for 1-3 minutes), start practising a contrast shower: 10 seconds with warm – 10 seconds with cold water. Gradually increase the cold time (up to 45-60 seconds, no longer required) and reduce hot water time. As a result, you will only take a shower of cool water.

Contraindications

  1. ARI. For colds of any kind with quenching it is better to wait, starting after recovery from gentle procedures.
  2. Any infections and inflammatory processes. In the process of getting used to the temperatures, they can increase even more.
  3. Adrenal disease/renal failure. Fortifying against colds such as pouring and rubbing causes a sharp surge of adrenaline in the blood. For the adrenal gland, this is not good, and if you are not comfortable with it at first, it is better to wait.
  4. Diseases of the cardiovascular system. Experiments with vessels will not help you if you have problems with them. It’s like doing cardio training with a sick heart: the results can be terrifying.
  5. Any tumours. In essence, these are the same inflammatory processes. It doesn’t matter how benign these tumours are: everything can get worse.

As a result, in order to be healthy, you must first recover. Logically!

Conclusion

To be fortified against colds is to get used to the temperature conditions around. You have an opportunity to increase the level of your immunity especially without straining – why not do it?
